Cekovsky Back After Ankle Injury

Center Michal Cekovsky, of the Maryland men’s basketball team, is back and performing well after missing six games with a left ankle injury.  After a game against Charlotte back in December, Cekovsky reported feeling some pain in his ankle.  It persisted through the holiday break and soon thereafter he wound up in a walking boot.  After resting and keeping weight off the ankle, Cekovsky came back on January 24th.  He is currently playing less than he used to, usually not more than 10 minutes per game.  Cekovsky is vital to the offense of the Terps, and he’ll hopefully be back to his healthy self soon.
